Hi john not to good with computers and it was hard to find how to reply to your post
What general plans do you have in mind? food forest and had a few ideas like give food and fruit away to the community if we have not to go to waste as sometimes i see it fruits falling in the floor and i cant pick them up  
What is there now?old trees are 75 olive trees, 7 apple trees riscadinha de palmela, 12 fig trees, 9 pear trees, 2 Japanese Persimmon trees, a group of 7 prune trees, 2 linden tilia trees,2 Eriobotrya japonica, 3 from citrus, two pine trees, some cork oak trees, and some quince a few and scattered vine trees,from old vineyard that my granddad had here, and banana trees and a mango tree little that i have been planting, some herbs that i have  been spreading, planted a few more apples and pears and a cherry and Prunus cerasus, and corn a little and sugar cane a little that i give to animals like the goats that alone i am not managing and the chickens,
What accommodation / cooking facilities are available now? there is rooms empty on the house toilet and shower
Is water in site? a well and a deep spring with 60 meters proper water tested were i drink and been watering
Are you in a bush fire zone? no just farms and big estates
What is the weather like? its hot and cold in the winter like 40 in summer and can have frost in winter
When do you have in mind for anything to happen? now please asap need help motivational also
How far to the beach? 30min loads of options try search portugal, comporta beach, arrabida beach, there is a few to explore also in the bay well in the middle of farms 45 min from lisbon and then 30 min from the sand and sea there is also the river tejo with is arms that stretches to not far from here were tidal harbors have been since ever

well thats mainly this and maybe some trees i missed by mind
