I'm finishing up my watering, it just dark and I hear a strange racket. I go investigate, and find out it's the air compressor.  A couple had a flat tire in front of our house.   My son is out trying to get there tire drivable.  They don't speak English, no spare tire. My son is trying to fix it enough to get them where they are going.
In times like these, where young people seem to feel so entitled, and self absorbed, it's lovely to see my very introverted son helping someone in need.

That's awesome! Would you mind if I ask how old your son is?

My son is 22. Thought very introverted he is a care taker. Always has been. I remember when he was a little boy, I can't remember the age the first time, but young. I walked into the kitchen and he's made a bunch of PB&J sandwiches ( way to many for him to eat). I asked him what he was doing, and he said Grampa has working with the guys out back, and it's lunch time.  I can't remember what he took out, but he had PB&J what ever fruit we had, and a couple of choices of drinks.  I do remember it was appreciated, everything was eaten, and a memory I cherish.  He just a caring person.

I think I'll just lie down here for a second. And ponder this tiny ad:
