Options for moving mobile home trailers when there are no local movers?

I have a couple old mobile home trailers that I need to relocate since they've been sitting unused now for more than several years. They're just collecting dust and developing leaks so I'd like to turn them into something useful and in useful locations. I need to move each of them about a mile roughly. I'm having trouble with finding local movers. I've tried the only options that anyone knows of and they're out of business.

I can't really afford to hire the only movers I can find that are over 100 miles away since they tack on some additional (ridiculous) fees.

I don't really see myself using pickup trucks to move these into their positions, so I have been thinking about finding other folks with maybe some kind of heavy equipment/bulldozers that might help in some way - or maybe other options.

Anyone know of various ways or even creative options for moving mobile home trailers outside of taking them apart and trying to move them piecemeal (which is not going to happen)?

We have a trailer ball that fits on the 3 point hitch on our tractor. Hubby used it recently to move a trailer, but you haven't said anything about the size of the trailers, mass, or type of hitch required?

One is about 70' long by 14' wide and the other is 50' by 12'. They both have ball hitches. Not sure about the mass.

Wow! So they are wider than typical road trailers and very long. I still think that a tractor might manage it, but you'd have to find someone local with a big one. If you're really only planning to move them 1 mile, you don't need a lot of speed and it doesn't sound as if you've got a hard, short deadline, so it could be at the farmer's convenience.

Is that mile on your own property, or would they have to either cross a road or drive part way on a road. Also consider their height, and whether there are any overhanging wires or branches that you'd have to get out of the way. Elevation gain and loss would also be a factor to consider.

I'm assuming you looked into tow trucks? Again for that size of trailer, you'd need a fairly substantial tow truck.

Hi,  I had help moving a 52'x12' trailer.  I rented a small dozer and was able to position it on the road.  A neighbor with a 5ton dump truck pulled it.  Had to use hydrolic jack to lower trailer 1 2x4 at a time onto the ball of the truck.  

Maybe ask your local equipment rental place, dealer, what he would do?
