I thought this was fascinating, although he uses a small amount of glue to hold his hand-poured stiffeners the rest is all wood joinery.

Amazing work! The hand-cast brass butterfly inlays and wedges could as well be done with a hard wood like hickory or locust, and pegged in place instead of glued.

I love the blind wedged tenons holding the legs to the top - that is precise work that has to be done right the first time, no going back to fix it
