You are going to see my name come up many times as much (not all) of what I am reading here is poor informtion. I have been a Certified Herbalst for over 40 years and have devoted much of my time to the study of natural healing. I also teach and wrote articles on natural healing for our regional newspaper for a few years. I do believe that most people can look after diseases that are not life threatening. I will try and direct the reader into what I consider a better choice of treatment and how to approach learning about natural healing. I consider Homeopathy to be the superior medicine, herbal treatment can be effective but it can also be more expensive. Questions are welcome as long as I am not inundated.

Dennis, I think you will find that there are many schools of thought. And there are many authors here.

An important thing to keep in mind about this site: I am extremely picky about what I choose to publish here. So if you see something being discussed and your position is different from the other person, I invite you to present your position.

The important thing is to not suggest that the other poster is anything less than perfect. It is also important to present that your position is "your position" and not "the truth" (thus implying that the other person is loon).

I mention this because you say

much (not all) of what I am reading here is poor informtion.

If you see something that might be outside of my comfort zone, I invite you to click on the "report to moderator" button.

Welcome to permies.com. I hope that you find this site to be vastly superior to other forums.
