I have to laugh when I see local garden posts where someone saw a mushroom and they get really worried asking how to kill it, get rid of it, and if their whole yard is going to die from fungus.   Not laugh at them, but at me,  because I run out to my yard like a little kid with my camera whenever it stops raining to take pictures of whatever mushroom/lichen/fungi I can find, and I get pretty excited when I see a NEW one out there.

One rather wetter year (maybe 2020?) we had I think 10+ different species show up in my tiny urban lawn. (Our neighborhood is part of a 60+ year old forest, so that is probably why, but I was surprised to see all those colors suddenly covering the entire front yard!)

Today I ordered an inoculation kit so I can grow fungi on purpose and eat them!

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
