Hi Joy,
I think I would not bother with the bone powder and just stop at bone broth. Rather than dry the bones and crush them into a powder and then reheat them; I would suggest just cook them into a bone broth. It might not have as much calcium as ground up bones, but it will still have lots of the good stuff that comes out of the bones.
If you were making your own bone powder, then the bone broth would be much easier. If you were buying the bone powder, I think the bone broth might be cheaper.
