Day 15
Another snowy day spent mostly in the library, combined with running down to the shop to make a few cuts for more shelves.
It feels good to keep moving forward even surrounded by snow without a plow for the moment.

Day 16
Another groovy day blessed with sunshine to start the morning. Some snow clouds passed by and all was beautiful.
Paul keeps asking us if we're tired of building shelves yet. It's humurous for the reason that I'm still learning something everyday. I'm sure it's safe to say all the boots are.

Day 17
March 1st and spring is around the corner. There's no tellin when the snow will melt so we can start planting. I'm excited to be with people that love to grow food and know so much about what's involved around it.
Whatever this growing season brings us there will be a lot to learn from everybody involved.
Got to organize the library a little bit with Jocelyn this afternoon. It's amazing how much her and Paul do for all the people who come and go. There is a lot of love that goes into what they do to see the big picture. For the little things you do today are the stepping stones for the future that lies ahead.

Day 18
The weekend has begun and there is so much you can do to stay busy. Constantly learning, seeing what needs to be done and taking action. It would be crazy to say one could see it all and do it all, but that's the beauty of being human, you can't. It takes someone or something to show you and eventually you might see it. Even with that as long as you're moving forward that's the main thing, it's not a race.
I'm working towards being more observant without overthinking. There can be a lot to take in and how can your mind process it all? How can you filter what you take in for the day without leaving some crumbs behind that were a part of that better tasting cookie?
Enough with the deep thought. I pulled out the microscope while Fred gathered some worm castings and potting soil to observe. We saw some cool stuff. next time I'll set up the camera for it and see if we can get some pictures posted on here.

Day 19
Super productive day. Paul was like "Got any plans today? How bout them PEP badges?" Shoot, good idea. Made a compound mallet and cooked some breakfast for dinner. Got the mallet badge and just posted the food badge. I'll find out tomorrow if the hash browns are worthy.

Day 20
Another week stated out with a nippy -12 degrees. Interesting having the coldest temp of the year in march. We had no problem staying warm and productive.

Day 21
Taco Tuesday and it was night fit for kings. I filled up on two burritos and was lethargic enough to talk myself out of a third one.
As for the boot stuff we updated our Rollie shelf design to two shelves instead of three. We spent a moment after lunch to load up the fire truck with recyclebles for Paul and Jocelyn to drop off in town while they ran other errands.
We will have to get wood and some other materials to fully complete the shelves, so it will be interesting to see what Fred will have us do whenever he picks that up.

Day 23
You could feel spring in the air today but winter wasn't ready to say goodbye with about half a foot of snow this morning. Soon after the sun was shining and the snow started to melt fairly quick with a high of 50 degrees.
Fred taught us how to plane boards and level the table saw. There is always something to learn here and we're growing in so many ways (even without a tractor to plow the snow and access more projects). 2019 is a year to move towards the practical side of permaculture.

Day 24
We are really starting to get the hang of this shelf building business. We got into a good groove and everybody seemed to be working well together.
