Gardening indoors: how to efficiently and economically produce greens in your home all winter long.
Winter is here and there is no sign of breaking ground in the garden for some time, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't grow your own food. Larry Neskey, the garden manager for the University of Montana Dining Services Garden has been growing microgreens for consumption in the Food Zoo; indoors, all winter. He's going to come by and share what he's been doing, and how you can do it at home too. Here is an interesting article about the nutritional value of microgreens from
NPR.
