You must be so sad about the damage..but at least no animals were hurt in the filming of this disaster??? I hope !

I it torn or can it be beaten back into submission and fastened down a little more securely??

well, we beat it back down and re-screwed it. it is missing the front ridgeboard so the very end isn't screwed down. unfortuantly we have another windstorm moving back through as I type, it is still too dark for me to see much, I hope it didnt peel back off. nobody was hurt. I didn't even see that it happened at first. my dh came home and said "what happened to the shed!!!". I thought we just had a big gust of wind. it threw rain water up against the front of the house that has at least and eight foot eave. it was like someone was throwing buckets of water against the house. it even leaked in several spots near the doors and windows. I'm afraid to go look this morning

Wow...sounds like maybe you had a wind shear! Glad nobody got hurt!
