(If there is "book" in the post title I will immediately rise to the bait--snip snap!)
If I ever have a bunch of fruit trees, I am getting this legendary book:
The Holistic Orchard: Growing Tree Fruits and Berries the Biological Way by Michael Phillips. (I have the late author's book on Mycorrhizae and it is breathtaking.)
If you're interested in whole-systems
gardening and forest gardens, take a look at Dani Baker's new
The Home-Scale Forest Garden.
I really like it, and I think she's writing and
gardening up in your area...-ish. The book is so complete, from soil health to pruning and everything in between.
