Maurice built roundwood cabins and palaces in the Banana Belt of Idaho out of massive
black locust trees, not dimensional lumber.
He did this work by hand, building his own home. His home has an attached geothermal
greenhouse. His property is planted to the most amazing orchard and garden I have ever seen in my life. One bunch of grapes takes a basket to carry. Think of the
land of Canaan when the scouts were sent in to explore and it took two men to carry a bunch of grapes back. We visited this family and filmed many times.
I want to share their lovely building with you guys. He never stopped building. If he wasn't building a wine cellar for a billionaire he was building a fishing pole cabinet or a model airplane. Love their family.
