All my kiwi root stock died over this last winter. Most likely when we went from 55F to 3F overnight and it never got above 12 for the next couple days.
I was planning on grafting a lot of Actinidia Chinensis onto the root stock but  now now I need to refocus on Hazel Nuts.
I have a bunch of Golden Scions for anyone who can use them. A couple male and many female. All I ask is you pay for shipping from North Alabama.
Thanks

Hi, I reproduced kiwis by cuttings without rooting hormones. I don't know which rootstock you used, nor its cold tolerance. If no one is interested, maybe you can still save them?

Or try Actinidia arguta, which are quite cold tolerant?

I have done green kiwi successfully but never had any luck with the golden kiwi.

I don't have any other kiwi plants to graft them onto yet, but if no one else has claimed them and you aren't going to try to start them yourself, I think I'd be interested in taking you up on that offer and trying to root them if I can- if you're okay with that?

(I just found this site a few hours ago looking for information about different comfrey cultivars. So hopefully my being new here isn't an issue either?)

I tried to root the chinensis in the past in my humidity tent.  0% success.
If you are in the North Alabama area I have 3 or 4 different green fuzzy kiwi that survived in pots.  You are welcome to them.  Too big to mail.

Thanks, that's super generous of you!

Unfortunately, I'm not in the area - I'm over in Oklahoma - but I still appreciate the offer!
