I've hunting for improved earth-sheltered greenhouse design. This time around I want the greenhouse to able to hold a small orchard. My previous greenhouse design was  based on The Earth Sheltered Solar Greenhouse Book by Mike OEHLER.
One that really inspires me is from Fruits without bordersFruits Without Borders (Facebook) and   Human Wisdom

Hi, Brian

Have you looked into building a walpini greenhouse or a passive solar greenhouse?

The Chinese Greenhouse might be another option for you to look at.

These threads might be of interest to you or others:

Hello fellow Permies
It has been a year at least since I've posted. We can't wait ti get FEMA out of our lives! After almost three years since the fire.. They try their hardest to break our spirits, but we aren't letting them. We've been through every emotion plus some I didn't know I had. We did get reimbursed for our belongings. We are very impressed with that payment and it gave us a way to survive for another year, buy a nice car etc. Also we were able to get a FEMA trailer and and finally buy it for less than $7000.00. It is has  two handicapped bath rooms. The trailer is sitting right where our home home was, enabling the reuse of the utilities.
209 acres of this 245 acre land burned to ashes.  We are taking the tiger by the tail. I was too emotional to start cleaning up the forest surrounding our home. In 2024 I began cutting dead trees and picking up the branches and debris. We've also had a large group of youth volunteers from several towns in northern New Mexico planting trees nearly 1500 to date. We're so grateful for this gift, it gives me a lot of hope when I was just about to loose it.
Similar to our belongings offer we had an offer for our house recently as well as hints that FEMA is finally ready to pay for the damage to our ranch to the tune of $6.5 million !
I've gone through so many plans not knowing what kind of funds we're going to have that I finally gave up on all of them. We have decided to buy a good tractor suitable for the projects need to get done.
something like this?
I'm up for suggestions
Thanks good folks
