It's similar here in Newcastle - if you know where to look, there's loads of it. It seems pretty tenacious too - when my wild garlic patch was just small, we had a guest who, ahem, kindly weeded the back garden without bothering to ask. He took out all the wild garlic before I knew where to forage it. Just what you want from a guest! Anyway, I thought that was the end of that, but a few years later it came back, and has now taken over that part of the garden. Also this year, it's growing in the gaps between paving stones 20' away from the main patch.
