Hi all;
Right on time the snow has melted from the top of twenty-odd peak (6000').
Safe to start planting here in the lowlands (2600')
Due to my recent wrist injury, raised bed construction has been delayed.
Both boys will be up this weekend, one will work in the garden with Liz and the other will work with me on firewood.
The front porch and white sand rock garden are starting to green up nicely.
The newest crop of bacon seeds are here and getting used to living at piggy paradise.

Your front porch is gorgeous, Thomas. And when I see those bacon seeds I can't help thinking about your smoke shack. That is a wondeful place to live.

Sorry to hear about your wrist!

You have a beautiful homestead. It really looks gorgeous, bravo to your efforts. The bacon seeds will have excellent scenery around them.

Thanks, guys;
It has taken quite a few years (1986) to get it this far.
In six more years, the cabin will be 100 years old and I'll be 71!
That crop of Bacon grew up nicely and is currently hiding in the freezer, but has been seen coming and going from the smoke shack.
Currently, we have snow and mud... still a few months away from green grass.
