Come join us for an in-depth exploration of animals in permaculture design.

We will look at designing with animals to take advantage of the ecological services they provide, as well as husbandry, including gentle handling; nutrition and preventive health care; forages and silvopastoralism; and farm layout, including permaculture, keyline, and holistic management infrastructure design.

We will have lectures, demonstrations, field trips, hands-on activities, and many wonderful outside speakers, including Jacqueline and Joseph Freeman, Owen Hablutzel, Dr Ahmed Tibary, Paul Wheaton, and special guest speaker Joel Salatin.

The course will look at how to partner with a wide variety of animals. Certain animal species will be considered in more detail as examples of the basic principles which can be used to incorporate any animal into our designs.

That sounds very interesting.

In the words of the late Sir Albert Howard,
"Mother Earth never attempts to garden without animals."

I want to chime in here and highly recommend this course. Not only is Deb Berman a fantastic presenter with tons of practical Permaculture experience (with animals!), but she's got a great line-up of guest speakers, including Owen Hablutzel, Jacqueline Freeman, Paul Wheaton(!) and .... wait for it .... Joel Salatin! Wow!

Mark these dates: June 24 - July 5 This will be awesome.
