Hi all;
Due to my misadventure with a ladder this spring, and the resulting broken wrist.
For 2.5 months I was unable to cut up my deck of firewood logs.
I called in the boys to help out but the bulk of the work was all mine.

In a normal year, I might have had help with splitting/stacking wood, but do all the cutting myself.
This year, not so much...  even now, I am still unable to start the gas chainsaw.
I can, however, charge the cordless chainsaw and "start" it just fine! I even received my doctor's permission to do so.
On July 31st I finally cleared out the wood lot and finished splitting and stacking almost 15 cords of wood.
My new improved safety-less electric wood splitter helped a bunch!
Not bad for a one-armed guy!

Today on Aug. 1st next year's load of logs was delivered.
This fall I will tarp over this load before winter.

Hi, Thomas

I am glad to hear that you are over your injury and have been able to prepare for winter.

That stack is seriously beautiful!

You are wise to spend your time well! I think you're ahead of lots of two armed folks!

Hi John;
Sorry to hear about your fall!
Those darn ladders are surely getting uppity!
I hope you recover quickly.

As far as the wood being small.
With a Rocket mass heater, it does not matter what size the wood is, it runs wide-open heating the mass .and then you let it go out
