I'm just posting here to officially and publicly claim that I think I coined a term for a style of Old Fashioned cocktail.  I didn't invent the drink but I put a name to it.

In my area, the blackberry brandy stocked in all the bars is Leroux which, surprisingly to me, is a Polish brand.  People around here often order a "Polish" which is a shot of this brandy.  So I'm officially calling this drink a "Polish Old Fashioned". To describe it, it's a Blackberry Brandy Old Fashioned sour with a cherry garnish.   Order one the next time you're at the tavern!

I can hear James Bond order it already:

"Old Fashion. Polish."

...or perhaps Austin Powers would be better suited!

Something to add to the list to try.

It sounds delightful.
