I found this at the thrift store recently, and thought it was too cool not to share. Though I sort of wondered where the best place to post it would be.

I thought about the building forums, because that's what this tome is all about. But there didn't really seem to be a good section for books about building.

My eye was initially drawn to the color and pattern, my recognition circuits alerting on the 70s art style. And then I saw the title and said 'mine!'. It appears to be in good condition, with intact dust jacket, Annnd first edition. (Though not really worth much)

Some quick flipping through revealed things like sight selection, compressed soil blocks, passive solar gain through attached greenhouses.

I purchased my copy when it was published and have referred to it many times. With the passage of time some updates to the knowledge has ocurred, but it was a good sart.

Wow, I had not seen that one is some time. I know I was deeply influenced by those 70's passive solar books.
