I am in the GR Michigan area and I've been living with a few friends in the suburbs and had the time to do various research and start a few concepts. If there is anyone in Michigan who is willing to have me I would very much like to help with farming as well as test and make suggestions to help with permaculture living. I would need a ride and a place to stay while I am there but I'm a very easygoing person and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to try thing out before having a permaculture set up of my own with friends. I will tell more about myself to anyone interested in having me.

Welcome to the forum.

I feel it is good that you want to learn more about farming by offering to help.

Farming is a broad subject so I would like to ask if you are interested in helping with animals or farm equipment.  Please tell us a little more about what interests you.

A good place to get to know the local farmers is at the local feed and seed store.

Where I live a bunch gather at the feed store every morning for coffee and to tell lively stories.
