I just started collecting humanure. Mostly using Joseph Jenkins method, also a guy from Arizona, and forums like this have been helpful.

Today I went to pee and saw a yellow mushroom. LOL. I've been using peat moss as the bucket cover "flush" and also recycle paper towel to help save $ on my human kitty litter. Reminds me of the saying working for gov't/ corporate bureaucracies-"i'm just a musroom here- they keep me in the dark and sh*t on me“

I wonder if you could use mushrooms in the curing process to better decompose the waste. And I bet those mushrooms are sure tasty. yuck
