There are a lot of DIYers here and maybe somebody could point me in the right direction. Are there any recommended online sites to learn about metalworking or projects?

What kind of metal and projects? Blacksmithing big tools for the farm or silversmithing jewelry for the market?

http://www.iforgeiron.com/ and http://www.anvilfire.com/iForge/ For the blacksmithy stuff.

Thanks for the links R. I was thinking of creating a similar thread this morning but in regards to tinsmithing. Would be nice to know how to make my own buckets and bins, not the decorative stuff.

Yes, thank you for the links. I am interested in learning the skill to fix items, create functional pieces, and for decoration. I just have no idea where to start.

Permie Dale Hodgins has been posting about some blacksmithing projects- he's a really active dude, and might know of some good resources.

I'm sure there's a ton of good stuff on Youtube.
