That backyard is AWESOME. That is an insane amount of food in the space of a large living room. Plus the aggressive pruning means those trees would fit in a hightunnel for those in colder climates. I am so doing that.

What does everyone think of his upcoming, on line PDC course? I am very seriously considering taking it. I really enjoy his presentations. My only concern would be the relevance of it in my climate zone.

If it is like the preceding videos, I am not too worried about the relevance in relation to climate zones.

This video is truely inspiring on what can be accomplished in such a small space. I am almost overwhelmed at the possibility of what can be accomplished on my "bigger" urban lot. Some neat ideas too that I hope to implement into my own system.

I am stoked about seeing if the PDC course would even be a possiblity. With the experience that Geoff has, I am sure that there will be many, many examples in a wide variety of climates. The goal of PDC courses, as I understand it, is to help you figure out how this can fit you and your situation. They are not meant to be cookie cutter...just do A and then do B, etc. I think that it is awesome too that they will be sending the participants DVD's too because, while you learn so much from the course, you forget a lot too. The countdown to Friday is on!

I have soooo been waiting for this course! The possibility of me leaving my area to take onsite permaculture classes is ne'er impossible, but this would give me a great opportunity for further education while holding the fort here. After watching the long term effects of his work in Jordan, I was sold.

I'm just a girl trying to fix some seriously damaged land. Seriously.

Personally, my only concern about it is the price. I would love to be able to sign up for the PDC, but I just don't have the financial leeway at this time. I hope that he makes the DVD set available for purchase both individually and as a set and that they work in my region.

I am in pretty much the same situation. The more I think about it, the more I like it. I already know his presentations are very well done. I feel an empathy towards his style of teaching. His emphasis on design is very appealing to me, as that is one of my weaker areas. So, unless the price is completely outrageous, I'll probably take it. How cool would it be to take the first course? Especially since I love to be on the bleeding edge of new things. After all, the Edge is where all the interesting things happen.

I watched and want to share the latest three videos with a friend. Both for their great great content, as well as the lead up to the course offering. But, when I attempt to link to them again, all links lead to the sales page for the PDC. Anyone know if the videos are available anywhere?

I wanted to do some advertising and get more people interested.

Well, I signed up. It's a fair deal, and given the high cost of travel to Australia: a great deal.

Looks like there are a lot of Jack Spirko fans...I tried to plug for Paul as best I could : ).

There appear to be some other folks from Idaho in the class, so I am hoping we can share and unite.

I think the videos are gone. I believe that they were a 'limited time' teaser to get you stirred up for the course. It worked for me!

My guess is that if you listen to all of Paul's Podcasts, you wind up with about the same program...HINT, HINT.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I have to say though that the visual part of the design from Geoff are a really helpful to understand some concepts. So maybe listening to all of Paul's podcasts and reading a good permaculture book for the visual part is equivalent.
