Anyone have any suggestions for permaculture design courses in the Mid-Atlantic region?

I'm willing to travel a bit - Eastern Maryland, Delaware, Eastern PA, Southeastern NY. Hoping not to have to go much further afield.

Just googling permaculture design courses yields an overhwelming abundance of information that's impractical to sift through looking for the classes that have not already happened, are within my travel radius, etc. And I know nothing about which courses and teachers are good, which are great and which are maybe not so worth my time and money.

thought with all the people on here, someone would know a good program in my part of the world.

Thanks.

Hi Peter, I don't know of any specific courses in our area, I do occasionally hear about them through Meetup.com's Eastern Pennsylvania Permaculture Guild, Permaculture Network of New Jersey or The New York Permaculture Meetup just to name a few. It's a good place to start looking and asking questions. If you do find any please post it. Thanks and Good Luck

Thanks Rick. The organizations you listed are new information for me and I'm sure you are right, it's a step in a positive direction

I can't renounce my name. It's on all my stationery! And hinted in this tiny ad:
