Just wondering if anyone one out there is growing patience dock, rumex patientia, and would be willing to share some seeds or if someone knows where seeds can be obtained. I have curly dock around here but not patience.
I have a variety of dock growing, that I have had ID'd as each one being several different ones! I believe I do have what you want; can you email me a some very good pictures of what you are calling rumex patientia? I can then check; and, email back my confirm picture. I was planning to collect the seeds for trading anyway; so we can do a seed swap.
See if this photo helps. Those two plants are very similar. I think patience dock is larger more robust plant and will have no red spots anywhere on the leaves or petioles also the flavor is more mild not as sour as curly dock.

It is dark outside now, so I will check tomorrow. It does look like one of them I have growing. I also have some growing that have very wide leaves, not as thin as the one in your picture.

Hi, I did check; I have 5 different types of dock growing; however, not the one you are looking for. There are over a 100 different forms of dock, so it can be a bit confusing. With the picture and name, hopefully some one else will have it growing and can get you seeds. Best wishes on your search!

What is pictured here grows wild where I live (SE Oklahoma). I throw some to the ducks periodically. The horses might eat a little of it, but it is all over the place.

I'm thinking about a new battle cry. Maybe "Not in the face! Not in the face!" Any thoughts tiny ad?
