Hey, Chris sounds like you have a lot going on.

Are you only looking for folks who garden or work with animals?

No building or carpentry?

I love the Blue Ridge Mountains!

I would love to tell my friends since this is no rent though I am sure they would say `What kind of accommodations do you have?`

Hi Anne,
Thanks for your response. No rent does not mean free. Participation is worth more then money. Yes, there are several buildings here, materials on hand, with renovation, can house us  all with a communal kitchen. Putting Plants, landscape and animals, inc primates, first is our service. The  Me First mind is a modern failure that money can buy.  Who helped their Mother with preparing food, cleaning up, removing trash, who has this training in their bones?  Now, peeps go to a fillin station for gas and hohos then leisure time begins till the work bell rings.
Visitors here have that habit. When you walk into the kitchen do you sit down or start cutting up an onion?
Tasks are never hard just all day. Are carpenters also cooks and planters, pruners, animal caretakers, good. communicators? Takes a Village to grow food and shelter. Thanks

Hi Eric, like any friendship, introduce yourself.  Why Farm? What did you eat today?  Where did you prepare it? Where did you sleep?  Communication makes Community. Thanks for your interest.

I would be very interested in your community. Initially, I wanted to start my own community but circumstances have not allowed for it. Nonetheless, it is important for me to live the permaculture lifestyle with like minded folks.

I am learning about permaculture but I am not an expert. I am, however, a hard worker and can do a variety of things like carpentry, cooking, cleaning, canning, sewing, any kind of yard work, to name a few.

It would just be myself and my dog, if they are allowed. He is a 70 pound male Catahoula. He is the love of my life and my constant companion. He is 4 years old and neutered but he still acts like a pup. He is well behaved, listens well, and loves interacting with people. He is a character.
