I have a wooded 6-acre lot that I am trying to keep up with maintaining. I live in a small home with my kid next to the gravel lot with access to electricity, water, and a lagoon.
Free-range chickens are about so chicken-eaters must be on a leash. I cleared an area to garden, planted small fruit trees and pollinator seeds, built a makeshift greenhouse and need to work on proper forestry and making my small pond accessible from the overgrown forest.
I don't smoke, or do drugs seldom drink and prefer the same.
I prefer yoga outside, but it is not a requirement for you.
I dream of building an outdoor bathhouse and cabins someday, but first a responsible renter.
$400 per month includes electricity water trash and wifi if possible. Near Rolla, MO

Holy cow Neena,
I wish I lived in a camper so I could come live on your beautiful property and help build that bathhouse!
Some lucky soul will get this one...

Looks like a great deal - and opportunity! I've considered doing the same, but was thinking maybe short term like hipcamp or wwoofer first and I still have some work to do - gravel and stuff is expensive!

Good luck!

Hi,  If you are looking to advertise you might join Boondockers Welcome. I've used it before to stay in people's driveways and fields. Always had a relaxing friendly time with people for a couple of days.

Thank you Arthur
Is this just short term advertisement? I was hoping for a summer long stay or possibly longer. I guess I need to meet a few folks or find a local looking to save on rent.

The cheapest studio apartment around here is around $700 with no utilities or amenities. I've heard people pay more than that each with 3 roommates.

Hoping to find the right person for a symbiotic relationship.
Even better if we have the same mindset and goals of homesteading gardening health well-being.

Hi Cole, yes it's all expensive!
I wish I could support all of the wwolfers but not sure how to accomplish that realistically at this time. Perhaps I should have been a wwolfer but I invested everything in this place. Now I hope to be able to invest more time to develop.
A renter would be helpful in that endeavor and I used to have a 30 foot Camper in that spot while I build my home. Wish I had the Camper to invite a person but it had too many repairs needed and was more trouble and easier to sell.

Thank you for the responses

[I am still looking for a homestead helper looking to save on cost of living overhead while helping to grow a garden. A handyman would be helpful. Just had to hire the well guy to do repairs to get the well going again. Ouch!

I have done some cleanup of a pile of wood that has been too close to the house for a while and moved it between the fruit trees and garden area to start hügelkultur. I was going to get mulch from the recycling center inbetween jobs today, but it is raining pretty good here.

Is the $400 cash or would you consider work trade? I'm a carpenter by trade and have lived in off grid communities doing organic farming.

I would consider some work trade but I'm already working 2 plus jobs trying to survive and the point is I need help paying the bills to keep going. $400 per month is pretty low and doesn't even cover the utilities here so to add to the cost of electricity...I don't know how I can swing that.

Where do you live for less?
(I wanna go)

Does that include the cost of building materials? Now you have my attention....or to help me get to a spot to where I CAN get a renter without RV that would be huge...hmm, ya got me thinkin.

Reach out w details and some job references
