I was thinking about the Rastafarian "Ital" (rhymes with vital) concept around food, that it should be eaten and cooked in wood or pottery to retain the lifeforce. Such an interesting idea! I love the low-techness of it, myself, for not just food, but living in general. No mining of the earth sounds so in tune with nature!

But how does one make a bowl or spoon without using metal to create it? Maybe pottery? Can you make a spoon out of pottery? Or use a stone tool to make one somehow?

And housing, maybe it is possible to make a wigwam without metal tools, i think?

I think it might be possible to make a bone needle to sew clothing, with a stone tool?

Just interesting to think about how our prehistoric ancestors did basic day-to-day tasks!
