Paul, hope this is the correct forum for this and we have not stepped on any rules..
We are in the process of launching a large, US based company based upon regenerative agriculture and humane animal husbandry practices. We are seeking a motivated, creative and entrepreneurial CPA that can assist in the financial side of the business.
About the project The project aims to redefine the farming landscape and transform it into something new. This systems draws upon both ancient and modern farming practices and incorporates farming types such as dehesa and permaculture. The system focuses on free range animal husbandry combined with perennial and tree polycultures. Many here that are familiar with permaculture will find many overlays in both principals and ethics with this new farming system.
What we are looking for We are looking for a licensed accountant and/or CPA that can assist with the fiscal review aspects of the project. This person must have an entrepreneurial attitude, good communication skills and must share many of the same beliefs around the current state of agriculture and where there are options for something different going forward in the future.
Please feel free to send me a PM on here and I would be happy to provide more information and details.
Still looking? My cousin's a CPA, and may be about ready to start working again after taking some baby-related time off. Shall I forward this to her?
And I like the sound of your project, too. I'm all about working on getting humanity back into right relationship with the land in any way, and I like your big-picture vision and ambition. If there are other ways to plug into your work, I hope you'll let me know!
Looks like I'm a bit late to the party but I'd be happy to work with a permaculture business. I'm a budding permie. Also, I'm CPA with a focus on taxation. Rather than turn this into a craigslist or job board style post why don't you just private message me if you still need help.
