I think this really makes sense, Timothy. Gypsum has been known as a valuable soil amendment for a long time. It makes sense that adding it to biochar would be even better than either one by itself. Checking your soil first to see which amendments would best go with the biochar makes sense here too. Charging, or inoculating our biochar with gypsum and other inexpensive and nutritious resources will tremendously help the soil to remain a rich storehouse for biological interactions. That is what gives nutrition to our food and helps it to fight off diseases.
