Background: My son's robotics team won a national (Mexico) championship!!!  That means they get to go to the world competition in China. It's a team of 4 thirteen-and-fourteen-year-olds, plus 2 coaches and some parents.  Airfare for the group is looking like close to my entire yearly salary!  So I'm thinking of starting a fundraiser, mainly directed at my own friends and family back in the good old US of A who might want to contribute a bit of cash to get them to China.

Question: Has anyone used Chuffed.org? How was the experience? would you recommend it or just go with gofundme?

Hi Melissa - I sit on the board of a nonprofit biochar industry advocacy organisation in Australia and New Zealand, and we're using Chuffed for our fundraising. Our CEO seems to be happy with them.

Thanks,
It seems like it is the crowdfunding site that best suits my needs.

I got this tall by not having enough crisco in my diet as a kid. This ad looks like it had plenty of shortening:
