Organic matter is the lifeblood of healthy soil. Tilling the soil destroys the organic matter in a much bigger proportion than we like to think .

Good alternatives to tilling are:

- Adding manure - Good

- Raised bed- Better

-Hugelkultur - Best

I really enjoyed the video! Great visuals and voice over.

Soil health is an incredibly important topic to me and I find it almost a duty to improve and protect my soils. Permies has been a great place to learn a variety of techniques to do just that.
