In answering another question, something occurred to me.

If you go to ic.org you can find thousands of communities to join. By doing your research you can find a community that is a great fit for you. My project is not listed there.

Some people wanna do the prepper thing, or do the permaculture thing - lots of places to do that.

I think the people that come here are mostly interested in the project. Proving the wofati, the pooper, lemon trees outside, tefa, etc. So I think there will be a passion about "how to make this work" which will overwhelmingly trump most issues.
