We all have them or had them at one time.  A really, really good friend will be on the way to meet a bondsman at 3 am to bail you out of jail.

Your best friend will be beside you on the bench, in the holding cell.  Saying; "damn that was fun, can't wait to do it again!"

Not so meaningless.

Peace

I too know that pain of loss.  It helps to look at their passing as they have gone ahead of us and are waiting.

Peace

Good friends are lovely.  Best friends are a sacred thing.  I have probably had more best friends than many people have.  And that is a privelidge I wouldn't trade.

Why do people become best friends?

My first best friend was in the first grade.  We meet at the fair and today I still remember that meeting. When we were in the sixth grade we went to a movie, she met a boy and would not leave when my mom came to pick us up.  I hope she had a good life ...

I have had a lot of good friends that I worked with though never a best friends ...
