Son: "There's a lot of things in the way in the woods that make it hard to walk around."

Me: "Yeah buddy, that's true in some places"

Son: "What would happen if we cut down all the trees?"

Me: "That's a good question. What do you think we'd have if we cut them down?"

Son: "A lot of stumps and.... THEN WE'D HAVE A BUNCHA PLACES TO SIT! oh... and firewood."

Ho, I thought he would say that it would even be harder to walk around with horizontal instead of vertical trunks on the way!

Can you ask him "What do you think we'd not have anymore if we cut them down?"
