Today, I was searching the forum for `Brioche` ... and found this from a dailyish I did a few years ago:
At some point during the French Revolution, when she was told that her French people had no bread and were starving, Marie-Antoinette, the Queen of France supposedly said, Qu'ils mangent de la brioche or "Let them eat cake. Let's have cake and eat it too! Anne Miller here with friendship cake, apple cake, breakfast foods and bacon cinnamon rolls.
Do you make Brioche?
I was reading this article on Brioche and am considering making it when the weather cools off:

The pictures are so mouth-watering:
And folks might enjoy the links from that dailyish though not Brioche:
One of my favorite cakes is the Friendship cake that is fermented fruit and needs a stater to get it going. Last year I tried to make a starter but it didn't work out. Any ideas?

Now what does breakfast food have to do with cake? I don't know, though I would love cake for breakfast. This thread is about breakfast foods for kids!

These meaty bacon cinnamon rolls look so tasty. I would not have guessed that they are made with meatloaf! I want to make some.
