Hello all plant minded people. This guy is growing in my east facing window well and is almost tall enough to create shade. Any ideas on what it is and if it will be good to keep or bad because the roots may cause damage to the foundation. I just put a Maypop Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata) in east of this which may like this plant as a host to climb up as well. Any help is appreciated. Posted another photo.

Desmodium. Not comfortable with a specific epithet due to lack of flower or fruit.
