Cleaning out some of my B O S (boxes of stuff) earlier this week, I found some sandpaper from many years ago.  There are maybe a half dozen sheets of 180 grit, and on the back the printed company name was - Minnesota, Mining and Milling - what we know today as 3M.

Do you remember other companies names?

Oh one more, some of my old woodworking hand planes were made by Stanley Rule & Level Co.  Today it is plain Stanley.

Peace

My grandfather worked for Sunshine Biscuit Company which was The Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company.

They made products like Hydrox Sandwhich Cookie (like Oreo), Chees-Its and Animal Crackers.

As a kid I remember my aunt taking me to Piggly Wiggly.  Her favorite bread was Sunbeam Bread.
