Now that October is upon us, it's time to start finalizing the Halloween plans, and for some, that means figuring out which pumpkin patch is the most sincere. I have tried searching the record for recent Great Pumpkin appearances and I'm not coming up with anything. There are old announcements for "Great Pumpkin parties" in past years, but those weren't even held on Halloween! Waiting for the Great Pumpkin on a night that you know he isn't coming? That isn't sincere at all!

So, for those who hope finally to see him this year, which pumpkin patch have you scoped out? When the Great Pumpkin comes, he should be given a proper welcome.

I think Linus' patch is the most sincere. (Mine would be, but about 4 attempts out of 5, squash bugs and vine borers wipe it out.)
