Very nice demo and explanation. I want a tenon cutter! I have done it with a jury rig on my table saw, but for a common tenon size, the one shown would be the bomb.

I know, right?
Given his love of old tools, I take his use of it as a serious endorsement.
That tool could really get a lot done, even if one were using the demonstrably weak branches.
