Hi Everyone.
I was reading Eliot Coleman's book The New Organic Grower. On page 165 he shows a picture of a pyramid shaped screen that he has fashioned to make a pyramid and place over seedlings that have been transplanted outside. He says "we cut 15 inch wide rectangular pieces off of a 36 in wide roll of window screen and fold them into three-sided pyramids with flaps at the bottom that are covered with soil." It sounds great, but I can't figure out the dimensions of how he put this together. Also the book only has one picture.

Does anyone have a better explanation of a design.

Thank you

This is a suggestion of one way you could fold up the screen mesh to make a triangular pyramid. The red lines are folded so they come out of the page and the blue lines go into the page and the dotted lines come together and touch on the third edge. I think the pyramid side will end up a bit less than 17 inches. Only two flaps to bury though. Otherwise I think you would need to cut the mesh to get a tab to bury on the third side.
