I wanted to get an incubator to hatch at least 50 eggs at a time. I’ve used smaller incubators, but they are hard to keep up with, even with small batches. Any suggestions on ones that can allow me to hatch more eggs without having to constantly monitor temp and humidity?

A few of these would take care of most of the monitoring for you...

I have a Little Giant incubator.  With the egg turner in, it will hold 41 eggs, so not quite the 50 at a time you would like.  Not sure you can beat one for the price unless you make your own.  It works great.

I definitely think this is one of those chicken and the egg conversations. lol. We are starting fresh, and don't want to get full grown chickens as we have had behavioral issues in the past due to poor care or housing.

We had built one ourselves, but with the manual turning, we only ended up with 6 our of the 14 eggs we had hatch, so we want something that can handle that for us, since we did forget a couple times to turn at the right times. also, constantly opening the unit, we knew it messed with the humidity.
