Interns/WWoofers on urban homestead making herbal products

We are a small urban homestead located in Eugene, Oregon, looking for interns/wwoofers interested in learning how to grow and make herbal products. Community interns work 10 hours a week and live elsewhere, live-in interns work 25 hours a week and it includes room and board. Biking distance to downtown, and on a bus route, has all the benefits of living in a city, with the green and quiet of the country. Eugene is a fantastic city with a thriving organic and progressive culture. We grow herbs both culinary and medicinal, have a big vegetable garden, make herbal products that we sell at farmers markets and local festivals. We have certified kitchen on-site, and sell one of our products in local natural food stores.

Into permaculture, biodynamic methods, currently have chickens, bees, will be getting rabbits this year. In addition to gardening & making herbal products, food preservation activities such as canning, dehydrating, making Kombucha, Junn, and other fermented foods. We eat meat, mostly local & organic. Meals are based around what is seasonal and is overall pretty healthy.

We value communication, authenticity, spirituality without dogma, personal space, freedom, work, play, laughter, music, learning, and growing.

Are you still taking onsite interns through-out the year, or was this for the fall/winter season. I am a trained cook from fine dining backgrounds, would love to discuss my situation and desires for homesteading.
Thanks, Cal

We have a very limited amount of living space, which is currently full. We have room for community interns who want to learn to make herbal products who live elsewhere. You can check back in January we may have an opening then. We prioritize those willing to make longer term (like a season) commitment, whom can come visit in person first before. Thank you for your interest.
Seriously? That's what you're going with? I prefer this tiny ad:
