If you want to come to Oregon and help create on permaculture land cooperative, there is a fantastic opportunity for experienced permies. There is is currently no residents, so a clean slate to build your dream. There is a mobile home that is being is now on craiglist that is being rented for way under market value (rents are high this close to Eugene) in order to find a great permie. Tiny home or RV space is also available, and there is another couple of other liveable structures on the property that will be coming up. There are a few pictures here webpage

We are a permaculture urban homestead with a focus on medicinal herbs. Must have at least three years of organic farm experience. Experienced in farmers markets and CSA a plus. Your primary job will be planting, harvesting, working with irrigation systems, setting up water catchment system, preparing starts for sale, CSA, vending, teaching interns, taking care of the chickens and bees, some herbal product making may be needed, but we have other staff for that for the most part. A Permaculture Design Certificate is highly desired but not required.

We have a commercial kitchen and make products available in the local natural food stores. We are located in North Eugene right off the bike path. This is a live in position, and includes rent, utilities, Internet, some meals in addition to a monthly salary. Since we will be sharing meals we prefer someone with a flexitarian diet, who is willing to butcher the occasional chicken.

Please send us a resume and in your email detail why you would be a good fit for this position.

Choices of housing are a cute tiny house or room in the main house. We would consider a couple, no dogs (really), no tobacco smoking at all. No heavy drinkers or drama. Must have a valid driver's license and a smart phone.

We are looking for someone dedicated and hardworking, positive with good communication skills. Starts March 21.

Urban homestead/micro community seeking members. We are located in the suburbs of beautiful Eugene, Oregon. We are on the bus route, and within bike distance to everything Eugene offers. We have established organic gardens, fruit trees, lots of berries and herbs, greenhouse, bees, little pond, mushrooms, & chickens. We focus on permaculture, specialize in growing herbs, and have a home business making and selling herbal products, with a commercial kitchen on site. Twice a week we have 3-5 interns learning and working on the property in the gardens and learning to make herbal medicine and organic body care products. We also do monthly workshops on herbs and holistic health that are open to the permies. We are looking for someone who is passionate and experienced in organic gardening and permaculture, who has the time to devote to the gardens. We want to find someone who shares our interests in food self reliance and sustainable living, who has time to help with food preservation activities like canning, fermenting, and dehydrating. Someone who is positive with good communication skills and not a lot of drama or conflict in their lives. We share some meals, are flexitarians who eat mostly healthy local food, lots from the garden, butcher an occasional chicken. Currently we have a tiny house available, we will have a room in the main house open this winter, we have a 27 foot travel trailer and working on a converting a 37 foot school bus to a tiny house. Some spaces are rental only, some work trade, or partial. Here is the listing we are currently running on craigslist that has photos. http://eugene.craigslist.org/apa/5295723387.html

14x14 foot A-frame with lots of custom features. Nestled between two apple trees, with a little pond and water feature right in front. Surrounded by organic garden beds, fruit trees, lots of berries and herbs, greenhouse, bees, mushrooms, & chickens. Your own little kitchen and bathroom, but access to the main house including washer/dryer, off street parking, library, outdoor refrigerator for extra garden veggies, freezers and pantry for food storage. A separate living space with privacy and quiet, but advantages of community household. There are two adults in the main house ages 44 and 57, and two cats, usually there is an an intern living in a trailer on the property for a three month school term. We have future plans for some cool green building projects, like a cob pizza oven and an outdoor kitchen.

We want to find someone who shares our interests in permaculture, food self reliance and sustainable living, who has time to help with food preservation activities like canning, fermenting, and dehydrating. Someone who is positive with good communication skills and not a lot of drama or conflict in their lives. Rent is 475/mo, little more in the winter, includes Internet, and all utilities. Deposit is 475.00

Would consider a partial work trade for someone with skills we can use.

We are looking for someone who is going to be a really good fit who wants to stay long term, at the very least the growing season. Move in April 1. Here is the Craiglist ad for pictures and contact there, not here.

I have about 1/8 of an acre, perhaps a tiny bit more. Sunny space is a premium. I have put a lot of my place into herbs, can grow a lot in a smaller space. Put a grape arbor over the chicken run, also lots of stuff on trellis. And grafted trees, just about to put one in that is plum, peach and nectarine in one tree. You can do a lot in a small space, and don't forget about indoors for herbs and microgreens.
