So hello. I'm a really busy full time farmer in Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau with a good local following. I have a farm-store in conjunction with my farming operation and do a couple of local markets. I raise a couple of acres of produce as well as beef cattle, meat chickens and heritage breed hogs. I'm extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this lifestyle. I've been full timing it since 2010. If you are ready to hit the ground running let's get to talking and see if it would be a good fit for us. Looking forward to hearing from you !

Hi! Sounds amazing! I love TN. I am currently in CA (born and raised here) but feel pulled to TN, was out there twice last year and love it. I am an herbalist, have done some work on farms, but not much. Mostly, I dream of homesteading and growing my own food and sharing a self-sufficient life with an honest, good man. Let me know if you want to chat more in the midst of all the business.

Hey Brad.
Colorado girl here, currently living in Laramie, WY with roots in Michigan. I have traveled all over the US as a previous van-dweller, an intentional lifestyle to heighten my survival skills. I love to cook and can make an elegant meal using few ingredients or culinary tools.

Originally trained as home-birth midwife, I have cared for many folks as a healer & herbalist. I love to forage for herbs, wild roots, and mushrooms - an easier thing to accomplish in more lush areas like the PNW, where I attended college for living arts. I also grow a variety of veggies & herbs, and have experience with livestock: chickens, goats, horses & llamas.

I have backpacked much of the continental US and southern Baja, MX peninsula. I am an adventurous gal, young at heart, with zero attachments or debt! I own a small business that is easy to relocate, and I'm down for a new adventure.

Hi there,

Your message felt like a breath of fresh mountain air—I could almost smell the earth and hear the animals just reading it. I’m a 51-year-old woman who’s been through a lot in life, but it’s only made me stronger, steadier, and more committed to living with purpose. I’m ready—truly ready—to dive headfirst into this kind of life. It’s not a phase or a dream; it’s a calling.

I may not come with all the typical trappings, but I come with heart, grit, and a deep respect for the land and those who work it. I’m not scared of hard labor, long days, or learning fast. In fact, I crave it. I want to contribute, to be part of something real, and to give back more than I take. I believe in showing up, pitching in, and doing whatever needs doing.

If you're looking for someone reliable, eager, and full of soul—I’d be honored to talk more. Thank you for sharing your world. I hope I get the chance to be part of it.

Warmly,
Heather
