Arcadia, Oklahoma - East of Edmond - Northwest of Oklahoma City ah, hears a map.

Property ready for your permaculture projects.

9 acres + 1600 sq. ft. Earth Sheltered Home and Workshop.

If you are looking to move to North Central Oklahoma and create a permaculture, sustainable homestead then this is the place.

We love this property. This would be the perfect spot for my family but we miss the mountains and are going to look for 10 acres North West of here. Way Northwest.

Access road on contour.
Lots of potential for water retention. Its a South West facing gentle slope

Storage sites can be developed farther up the property. And there are sites to store water low in the landscape. View From South

View to the S.E.

Earth Sheltered North Slope.

The girls come with the place!

If this were in my area, I'd want to see it. It looks like a place with tons of potential and there's slope for key line. I'd be interested in hearing the site's policy on selling property. I advertised here for tenants.

Chad - it looks an amazing place! Did you build it yourself? I'd love to hear its story if you did.

Dale - policy on permies is that we remove all commercial listings. Anything else is generally ok. Just because somebody hasn't posted much before doesn't mean that they haven't been reading stuff for years, or have something wonderful, like this house or years of experience, to share with us.

Burra-I really appreciate the messages. This home was built in 1982 and designed by a local architect Jonathan Majid.
We have remodeled the inside and landscaped the outside but I didnt know anything about Permaculture throughout those projects.

This property sits in Logan County Oklahoma. That means lower taxes than oklahoma county and no restrictions on water catchment.
There are three lots total. Water wells are drilled on all lots to a depth of 150', water table is about 105'.
