In another thread asking about what folks grow for their chickens, I mentioned the fodder system I use for our 20 hens so they get greens year round even during our long winters.

It results in better eggs and lower feed costs and it seems to really occupy their time.

We feed them 2 trays every 3 days.

Thanks for the instructions! That seems like a great set up in process. I wonder how important it is in the summer though. It does seem like a lot of work and you’d wanna make sure that the benefit to the hens justifies that.

Its really not much work at all.
