Do you know of a simple method for shucking Job's Tears? I've read they can be roasted like coffee...I have a nice crop, but cracking open a few thousand seeds by hand, well, no thanks.
I read also to just put them in a bag and hammer softly, if there is such a thing.
Yes, it dissolves into a pasty/flour like stuff. I'm not sure my nouns and verbs are exactly right (dissolve, dry, flour, paste, evaporate???) and the process could be refined. I was a bit careless about it bc I just wanted to see if it works. I could blend better. I could let the blended broth sit longer and wring it out a bit more.
Also, I just used 1 cup of seeds. Not sure how to handle 20 kg.
