If you're like me you've probably already scoured youtube for all the Sepp Holzer videos in English you can find. Pretty much everyone has seen The Agro Rebel and the Terraces, Raised Beds and Farming with Nature videos, not to mention they were made at least a decade ago. As far as I know there aren't any forthcoming in-depth documentaries about Sepp's work in English which are in production, but I'd love to be corrected on that. [edit: Who's up for doing a well made independent doc? Any takers?] In the meantime, there are plenty Sepp videos on youtube needing translation. Sure to be lots of fresh info for us English-speakers.

For example there's this 24 min. long speech (impassioned diatribe?) he gave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lPAqDRsaXU
Several more in Russian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-MDtTKKlrQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzC9tBrUu4U

That's just a start, I'm sure you can find more.

My hope is that starting this thread can gin up enough interest to find someone in our extended network who can do a translation, and if enough people want it and pitch in a few bucks we could really make it happen. Thoughts?

Pato Van Ostra : The you tube version comes with a Transcript button on the same line as the thumbs up, thumbs down line > farther to the right , bable fish should be able to handle the rest quite simply,
perhaps we can get Paul Wheaton to find some one to handle the translation, perhaps it is as simple as asking Sepp For the craft ! BIG AL

Didn't know there was a transcript button, cooL! although when I plugged that into a translator it came out like the script of a weird Al yankovitch song, sort of funny but meaningless. Whatever automatic voice-recognition software they're using doesn't really cut it w/ his dialect I think...

Still, a native speaker can be hired online to do the job and then we can get these videos up with english subs. I think that would be well worth it.
